Funnel Marketing

The Marketing Funnel or Sales Funnel (or Sales Funnel) is a model that describes the sales process.
It is used in traditional marketing, web marketing, and inbound marketing to denote the path of a user coming into contact with the company until he or she becomes a customer.

The word funnel means “funnel”-this is a metaphorical image because not all users who come in contact with the brand (at the top of the funnel) make it all the way through.

Rather, the Funnel allows you to filter out qualified leads and really interested prospects at every stage, who eventually buy and become customers.

What are the stages of the marketing funnel?

  1. The first contact with the brand, product or service. It can be on social media, or on a landing page to attract the attention of new potential customers
  2. In the second stage, the user agrees to provide personal information in exchange for content, promos, bonuses, etc. (we talk about lead magnet). Become a lead
  3. With lead nurturing, the lead deepens his knowledge of the brand/service/product. E.g., he can ask for information. It converts to prospect
  4. In the final stage of the funnel Prospect(prospecting) makes the purchase and becomes a full-fledged customer.

Traditionally, the journey ends here, but it is a good idea to continue to retain existing customers by extending contacts and providing dedicated promotions and content.

The Sales Funnel over the years has evolved and transformed from a funnel to a volant.
