In the heart of the Cremasque province, among scrap metal and old wrenches, one of the most absurd, ingenious and viral transformations of contemporary automotive was born.
Andrea Marazzi grew up in his family’s auto wrecking shop-Autodemolizione Marazzi in Bagnolo Cremasco-breathing in sheet metal, engines and that special kind of creativity that comes only from those who know things when they are already broken. A workshop as a school of life, where dismantling is the first step to reinventing.
In early 2024, he decided to do something crazy: take a 1993 Fiat Panda-a popular icon par excellence, everyone’s car, a symbol of a certain concrete, no-frills Italian-ness-and reduce its width to just 50 centimeters. Not a model. Not a CGI. A real, working, electric single-seater, made entirely by hand over the course of 12 months, with 99 percent of the original components recovered and reinterpreted.
The result is something that defies categories: too handcrafted to be art, too extreme to be a normal elaboration, too precise to be a gimmick. It is an object that exists in a space of its own – between world record, meme, and workshop masterpiece.

That sentence, uttered with the simplicity of someone who is used to doing more than telling, says it all. Marazzi did not invent himself a character: he was already a character, and social media-where he is known as @tutti_pazzi_per_marazzi amplified what already existed in the workshop. A rare, authentic talent with deep roots and a visibility that grows precisely because it does not seem constructed.
