Marco and Beatrice Campanella: from a family passion to the creation of Nautica Outfit

The beginning of an entrepreneurial dream

Marco, Beatrice, when and how did your entrepreneurial dream come about?

Beatrice: Our dream literally started in our family. From a young age, we grew up among marinas, boats, blocks and nautical maps. Our father is a great sea enthusiast, and he passed on to us that love of sailing that still accompanies us today.

Marco: It’s true, it all started from there. At some point, we looked at each other and said, “Why not turn this passion into something concrete?”

We wanted to create something that was not only useful, but could also innovate the nautical industry. This is how Nautica Outfit was born, a project that combines our personal experience with the desire to bring something new and really practical for those who love the sea.

A gap to be filled

Why did you choose to create a marketplace dedicated to boating?

Marco: Because there was a lack of a single, accessible reference point for people who live the sea. We realized that although there are so many good realities, there was no digital platform where you could find everything you need for boating: products, services and inspiration.

Beatrice: And not only that. We also wanted to make life easier for boaters and give visibility to small producers and artisans in the industry. Often these realities do beautiful things, but they struggle to emerge. With Nautica Outfit, we created a place where companies and enthusiasts can meet directly, without complications.

The inspiration behind each project

Where does the inspiration for your new projects come from?

Beatrice: Often from direct experience. When we are on the boat, we happen to say, “This process is too cumbersome, can we make it easier?” or “This product is unobtainable online, why not integrate it into our platform?”

Marco: Another great source of inspiration is our customers, suppliers, and friends who surf. We listen to their stories, their feedback, and try to turn that into practical solutions. We never start from a cold market logic, but always from real experience.

Nautica Outfit and the ideal customer

Who is NauticaOutfit’s ideal customer, both supplier and end user side?

Marco: For us, the ideal customer is anyone who lives the sea with passion. It can be a professional in the industry, a weekend enthusiast, or someone approaching boating for the first time.

Beatrice: And on the supplier side, we work with companies in the marine industry who want to sell online, improve their brand visibility or launch new products. Our audience is very diverse, but they all share a desire to sail better, with more awareness and less stress.

Tailored collaborations

What opportunities do you offer to companies that collaborate with you?

Beatrice: First of all, we give them the opportunity to sell directly on our marketplace, with personalized support. Every company is different, and it is important for us to create a tailored path.

Marco: In addition to sales, we also offer advertising space, visibility on our channels, editorial content to tell their story, co-marketing campaigns and even digital events. Our goal is to grow together, making the most of each collaboration.
