TikTok is known as the youngest social network currently in existence.
It was launched in 2018 as a result of a merger with the Musical.ly app, which was created in 2014.
This Asian social network immediately attracted the interest of young people, and gradually also of the “not so young”, due to its use of short videos as its main content.
Not surprisingly, all other social networks immediately realised TikTok’s potential. As a result, they began to modify their platforms, making the videos posted more accessible and easier to upload.
TikTok, therefore, in addition to being a social network for entertainment and sharing fun and personalised content, is an excellent launch pad for the advertising campaigns of many companies.
