CSR what is it? As it states Wikipedia, Corporate Social Responsibility means:
“The integration of ethical concerns within the strategic business vision.”
Let us exemplify the concept by arguing that the distinctive element of CSR is precisely to integrate social and ethical value into business management in addition to economic value.
To carry out a high-impact CSR social responsibility project, some basic principles must be considered:
Corporate social responsibility helps to support:
In 2013, we created our CSR Corporate Social Responsibility Project, called ” Vip For People ,” which deals with fundraising for Nonprofit Associations.
The Vip for People project is the brainchild of Key Events , the event planning department of Factory Communication.
Key Events wanted to concretize its ideas and mission in the social sphere by initiating a Corporate Social Responsibility project, with the aim of raising funds for charitable and useful works for the society in which we live.
To carry out this task in the best possible way, a committee was established to select projects carried out by non-profit organizations, associations and cooperatives operating in Italy.
From supporting the most vulnerable to medical care.
From environmental protection to cultural events.
Vip for People aims to support projects that bring real value to the Community and are based on ethical principles of solidarity.
This is precisely why one of the main drivers of VIP for People is transparency.
The activities we organize are not for profit, but respond to the typical mechanism of win-win situations.
The greatest benefit we will receive is that of the success of the Event, because the currency with which we are paid is that of visibility.
The profit from all activities carried out is entirely dedicated to raising funds for the Associations and Non-profit organizations with which we collaborate.
Data on the costs of implementing Events are available for reference.
Transparency, ethics and reciprocity are the principles on which our committee is founded.
Italy has always been a nation that stands out globally for its many solidarity and welcoming activities.
There are hundreds of nonprofit associations that help thousands of people in need every day throughout Italy.
So many companies of all sizes have developed their own corporate social responsibility project. Larger companies have organized themselves by entrusting the multiple activities to specialized figures called csrmanagers.
There are truly many examples of Italian ethical behavior and corporate social responsibility. Just do a quick Google search by typing keywords such as: csr companies, socially responsible brands, csr examples, socially responsible companies, csr corporate social responsibility, csr strategies.
You will find lots of medium- and long-term projects inherent in climate change, reducing the environmental impact of production processes, and protecting natural resources.
Companies must, every day, face global challenges to keep their businesses healthy. Year realized that, one way to achieve this important goal, is to live in harmony with their host communities.
In 2010 we joined and supported LYC (Luxury Yachts Corporation) in the implementation of their Corporate Social Responsibility project to support children in Africa.
In 2012 we were in charge of the Project called ” Green Metelino” , carried out for the Electricity Supply Chain Services company Metel.
With this Project, we have made concrete the concept, “The more you use our services, the lower the impact on the Environment, reducing pollution and improving the business efficiency of the entire Supply Chain.”
Such an important theme has enabled the creation of “Communication and Interest” around the Company, elements that can be considered an excellent return on investment.
In 2013, we implemented the “An Evening for Sic” Project in support of the Marco Simoncelli Foundation.
In 2017 we created the website of In-Vita, a non-profit organization that works on projects to support African populations.
In February 2019 I was fortunate enough to participate in a wonderful course taught by Mario Furlan, president and founder of City Angels.
An encounter that changed my life. In that course I received so much from Mario.
After a short time, I felt a great desire to reciprocate what he had done for me by asking Mario how I could be of help to him.
Thus was born, a collaboration between City Angels and Factory Communication. We take care of preparing the Social material that Mario and his collaborators use for online publications.
It is a very small contribution, incomparable to the work done every day, by the hundreds of volunteers who are part of the City Angels.
