The basics: how to create a Facebook business manager account

Do you already have a personal Facebook account? No? Then as first thing you need to create a Facebook profile.

If you have a personal profile you can create a Business Manager account.

Go to business.facebook and click on the blue button at the top right “Create a Profile.”

Next, in the pop – up box you will need to enter your company name.

In the last step you will need to enter your company’s e-mail address and click “finish.” This is it, we have created our business manager account.

You now have two options: create a new Facebook business page or add an existing one. If you want to manage your clients’ business pages you will have to, instead of clicking on “add page,” use the “request access” option.

Keep these two important differences in mind! Remember that once you add the advertising account on Facebook Business Manager you cannot remove it, so pay attention and add only the accounts you own.

You will also be able to add people to help you manage Facebook resources, connect your business partners, and add your Instagram account.
